Peacekeeping in Kosovo!

by Raxxillion - last update: Sep 11, 2002

I am currently stationed in Kosovo on a peace-keeping mission with the US Army. It is important that KFOR is here to stablize this region because this is such a beautiful country. The tree covered hills and mountains roll together in gentle harmony. The absence of pollution and day to day hustle-bustle, allows a person to relax and savor nature uninterupted. Oh, and let's not forget about the night! With no bright city lights, you can see almost every star in the sky making you wonder if there is life out there. And do they ever dream of place as lovely as where you are standing?
