... in that one sound for Russian hearts..." If you know Russian literature well, you may recall these lines by Alexander Pushkin, written about Moscow. The same goes for Paris. For Russian hearts, yes.
For me particularly Paris is impressionists, photographers, Russian post-revolution emigrants and refugees, "Notre Dame de Paris" by Victor Hugo, "Arc de Trioumphe" by Remark... Henri Cartier-Bresson, Jacques-Henri Lartigue, Josef Koudelka and Andre Kertesz... For me, Paris is the 20s-40s of the past century. The time when I would choose to live in, if I could.
I assume it is a kind of unusual view on Paris. Maybe. I will share with you some photos of mine (which is my favourite part of the trip), and tell you a bit where I stayed and what useful places you can visit (it is the practical part). Please be patient: I need a bit of time to accomplish everything:) |
