"Munich is the northernmost city of Italy", Italian people tell about Munich.
Indead: in summertime it coulnd´t be nicer on any worlds town place....
Very clean, stylish and romantic (Greek style) buildings and places, getting more and more green every year (trees are planted in lots of hundreds every year)...with the large and long Isar-Auen left and right of the Isar (flows in the middle through whole Munich), and the English Garden (one of Europe´s biggest parks for relaxing, drinking beer, playing sport-games, etc...
The most famous time is "Wiesn" = Oktoberfest, when millions of tourist get to the Theresienhöhe under the 100 ft. high Bavaria (Bronze)-figure (150 years old) to drinks liters (= "Maß") of the world´s best BEER!

Especially from May to September, Munich´s npeople are more friendly and enjoy summer sun! From upper you can see the ALPS (ca. 90 km)... don´t miss that great view from inside the town!
So enjoy it and take time to visit the ALPS!!!!!
