  Great post on the Saudi forum, Kasia. I was afraid to bring up the restrictions for females as I didn't want to be perceived as an American making judgement calls on another country's customs but you said exactly what I was thinking. Those customs could be much more difficult to adjust to than any safety concerns. Yes, I knew some expats in Saudi too: the women found those restrictions very difficult to deal with.
