We went to San Rafael for one single reason, well maybe two if you count "Karen's Promise", but I will tell you about THAT later. For now suffice it to say that we visited San Rafael to be with Karen and her family who so kindly invited us to spend a few days with them. We spent a beautiful few days, touring the area, San Francisco, wineries, did several BBQ's, went to see a new movie and we even hiked up to Karen's Promise.....(actually Karen, Greg and I did, the rest of the "kids", Zohara included, spent the time pursuing extra sleep....;o)))

Karen knew just where to take us for a fun and enjoyable day touring some of the local California wineries, here she is with Zohara at the Passalacqua Winery...they have a small picnic area which is just great, it goes well with a bottle of wine.

Thanks to this man, Greg, we had an excellent BBQ, now all we have to do is have Karen bring him over to Arad for a visit so we can do a BBQ also, then maybe we can trade secrets ^O^

Martin, I have not thrown away a chicken gizzard, neck or even a beak since you, Zohara and Tal have visited us. We had wonderful fun....thank you, thank you, thank you for coming to visit us!
