Page, Arizona, a small town in the middle of a seeming dry desert wasteland....yes it is that, but the desert is not as dry as you might think, and the wasteland is so beautiful it can stun you, not to mention the main reason to visit there - to see a FRIEND - meet Vere who visited us here in Israel and now we got to enjoy her home also. But even if you do NOT have friends here in Page, it is worth a whole lot of time to see the amazing things around there like the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Glen Canyon Dam, Antelope Canyon and of course the Anazazi ruins and the Navajo Nation itself. We do have to thank Vere for making it all happen, she was our guide in so many ways, into her country, into her home and family, all of which made our trip there very, VERE, special !!

Can't forget to thank also Charlotte (in white) and her husband Dale (in red) along with their beautiful girls, for allowing us to enjoy being a part of their family. We can only hope that they will soon visit us here in Israel so we can return the hospitality. I will have a more pictures to show once I get them all sorted.

American and Navajo Nation flags, Page, Arizona, U

The Navajo Nation (that is the Navajo Nation flag just alongside the US flag), very much a part of the USA, but very much a people and nation unto themselves. We spent a few days here in Page learning just how much they open their hearts and homes to visitors, I think that many people (yes, myself included ;o))), could learn much from them about how to enjoy life and people.

• Pros:Fantastically beautiful area and the people are even better
• Cons:Difficult to leave
• In a nutshell:We will be back here again.
