Amsterdam, not just "clogs"

by Martin_S. - last update: Dec 17, 2006

Clogs for sale, Amsterdam, Holland
Yes, there ARE clogs to be had here in Amsterdam, but it is far more than that, a very international city with everything from diamonds, fashion, sex and flowers.
Blomenmarkt, Amsterdam, Holland
Many people arrive in Amsterdam just for the Blomenmarkt (Market of Blooms) that runs along the canal. We enjoyed finding many species of plants there that surprised us because they are so rare in Israel.
Canals of Amsterdam, Holland
Of course you may also take your time to just "wander" the canals..it is called wandering the streets in other places ^O^.

In A Nutshell:"Tourists, tourists, tourists, where are the Dutch??"

Glad you had a good time in Amsterdam. Did you rent a bike yourself? I agree with what you said in your bike tip, cycling is indeed the best way to see the city.
