"No time in Nijmegen" Nijmegen by Martin_S.

We had not figured Nijmegen into our travel plans, but it turned out that we wanted to find out some information from the tourist bureau, so we ended up in the center of town. It took us over an hour to find parking, first we parked and as we got out of the car were told the sign said "residents only" (it was only in Dutch), then we drove and could not find parking. Finally found parking and it required using a machine...again no explantion except in Dutch...could not make it work and nobody around to ask, so we again drove till we found another parking lot. There we finally found someone to help us get a parking permit for 1 hour.

Afterwards we moved the car to a parking garage that it took us 20 minutes to find even with instructions from the Tourist Bureau, it turns out they didn't know that some streets you could not turn left on and on others....well you get the idea.
But we finally did get our car parked so spent a few hours walking the streets of Nijmegen, this open air market was one of our stops.
