We arrived in Aghios Nikolaos on a beautiful fall day when the sea was calm and the sky clear to find a quiet seaside village harbor where we could spend a few hours before our ferry left for a tour of Spinalonga.

Street people of Aghios Nilolaos, Crete

Some of the street people are not what you would normally find on most city streets, but here we saw this grandfatherly figure, dressed in what looked to be like a priests cossak, taking a child for a walk down one of the main streets.

But as everywhere I guess the tourists tend to take too much for granted and forced this shop owner to warn everyone.........
