But even without knowing the history, it is a very beautiful cutout of Roman life, with the elaborate gardens and mosaics, and the preservation of some of the mosaic floors are amazing. This reminds me of Tzippori in Israel.

Conimbriga is a national monument, I wonder why it is not a UNESCO World Heritage Site???
