The Gilboa mountains begin in the Israel valley and extend southeastward to the Jordan Valley with the Harod valley running below it. Here at one of the lookout points you can see Kibbutz EinHarod in the valley below.
There is a road (no. 667) that runs along the northern ridge. You can find it when you approach Afula on route 65 from the west, at junction 675 turn right onto 675 till you find where it meets 667, turn right onto 667. You can either take 667 to where it leads down into the Harod valley at junction 6666, or continue to the Jordan Valley where it meets route 90...
