"Mashabe Sade - NOT EXACTLY" Mash'abbe Sade by Martin_S.

Mash'abbe Sade Travel Guide: 1 reviews and 5 photos

Just south of Mashabie Sade is the Tlaliem Junction where highways 211 and 40 meet. And at this junction is a totem pole, yes a totem pole...who put it up and WHY were not answered when I asked....

Not far from the junction we found a "Liman", a spot in the desert where the area has been built up in a berm, surrounding a planting area. The built up area catches and holds the rainwater, allowing trees that are not suited to the natural soil here to survive in the desert. They are also perfect places for picnics, so we stopped and enjoyed.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Beautiful Area
  • Cons:Can't find all settlements on VT database ^O^
  • In a nutshell:Visit the area if you are not rushed

Too bad I didn't read your tip before spending a Shabbat in Masha'abe Sade (where they raise shrimp, by the way).
