Restaurant Name: "Bistro"
Bistro is in Ein Karem, Jerusalem and it hosts a very good house bread, that you can have with salads. We had two portions because the girls were so pleased with the house bread. You also get several types of spreads for the bread.

We had an excellent meal there and the atmosphere is very plesant, you can look across some of the parts of Ein Karem and just enjoy the fresh air of the hills of Jerusalem.
Favorite Dish: The name "Anashiem" means "People" in Hebrew. If you look closely at the sign in the picture you will notice something. When I was taking this picture Zohara, Stacey and Carmen all asked me "What in the world are you taking a picture of a sign for", I told them "Take a closer look and you will see why!!"

Restaurant Name: Link, Jerusalem
We were there with friends visiting from the USofA and we each had a different dish. Tal enjoyed a plate of Buffalo Wings which were in a sauce of honey and soy, it was delicious and there was plenty. Zohara enjoyed the beef on a stick, which just meant that the meat was in cubes and then spitted and done over a grill, also tasty. Ron and Mona both tried the steaks which they said were excellent. The girls both ordered a plate of chicken strips, thinly sliced chicken strips, coated in a batter and sesame seeds...We also enjoyed a bottle of fantastic 2005 Cab from the Tishbi Vineyard. The prices were very reasonable with the exception of the wine which was a little high. What also made this experience stand out was the totally excellent service we received...so all in all it was a perfect place to spend a few hours of our Saturday afternoon....oh and did I mention it is December 22, middle of the winter and the weather was perfect, we were able to sit outdoors in shirtsleeves to enjoy our meal, a REAL treat in winter.
Favorite Dish: Grilled Salmon Steak is what I had and it was in a light sauce which made it delicious.
