We have a wonderful friend who is a world class Kayaker. You can see her practice if you walk along the Yarkon River which flows along the northern boundry of Tel-Aviv. We visited her at one of her training sessions. This building is the training facility, look for it and the nice walking path by the river.

This is Lior, she makes the "art" of kayaking look so simple and effortless...Looking at the picture you would never believe that she is traveling up the river at a very fast click...It is fun to watch her and the other athletes perform here at such close quarters, you are only a few dozen meters away.. She also wants me to go out and kayak with her, but I think she will be laughing too hard at me to do anything to save me when I fall over !!! (or is it fall IN ;O))
