    General Tips: CHRISTMAS IN BANGKOK
  • Tip Rating:

  • Fondest Memory: Since I was in Bangkok in December, I spent my christmas there. Although Thailand is generally a Buddist country, most of the commercial and shopping places still decorated up with Christmas lights.

This photo taken in front of a hotel. Can't remember the name!

    General Tips: NIGHT MARKETS
  • Tip Rating:
  • Favorite Thing: Enjoy the many NIGHT MARKETS throughout Bangkok. PATPONG ROAD has turned out to be a busy place for shopping at night in the night bazaar. A lot of traders come in the evening and even at 8-9 p.m. to assemble their small outdoor shops.

Walking along this area is an exciting event for visitors. Many kinds of products, e.g. clothing, leather bags, watches, handicrafts, ceramic, wood carving, paintings, etc. are sold every night.

Not only the night bazaar, Patpong area offers many
kinds of entertainment, bars, beer bars, discotheques,
    pubs, a-go-go dancing, and shows.

It is easy to have drinks, refreshment, and foods there

Fondest Memory: Here I am ... shopping again!!! You can find lots of things in this so called Pasam Malam'stalls

    Attractions-Wats: FORTUNE TELLER
  • Tip Rating:
  • Favorite Thing: Get your fortune told outside the WAT TRAIMITWITTHAYARAM TEMPLE

Fondest Memory: Here I am putting a coin inside one of the many machines to get my fortune! There are altogether seven machines ... one for each day from Monday to Sunday. You are supposed to put one coin into the machine of the day of your birthday. For example, if you were born on Monday, you will get fortune from the Monday machine. It was fun doing this but don't really believe it!
