So this wasn't exactly a pleasure trip, let me tell you! I went to boot camp for the Navy here in Great Lakes, Il. (better known as Great Mistakes!) I arrived December 18, 2001 and left February 28, 2002. I spent 2.5 months marching all over base, getting yelled at, doing push-ups, and thoroughly hating life. It was truly an experience I will never forget! To all of you thinking of enlisting, do it, it's only 2.5 months and then you're back in the real world. I'm currently enjoying the sunshine of California.
