Downtown Burlington

Burlington is a name most often associated with the Burlington Coat Factory and with the railroad. It's a picturesque town on Lake Champlain with a lot for visitors to do. Conveniently located near many of Vermont's best attractions, it also has a number of good hotels, bed and breakfasts, and restaurants, making it the ideal place to stay.

Lake Champlain

The dividing line between New York and New England, this lake was once a major avenue of commerce. During the War of Independence, it was also a key invasion route used by the British. Today, it's used mainly by pleasure boaters. Nestled between the lake and the nearby hills, Burlington has not one but two beautiful backdrops.
