My first visit to Baltimore in many years took me to the Inner Harbor--probably the best starting point for touring this city. I loved it. It will take at least several more visits to take in all that this place has to offer; I merely scratched the surface.
Years ago, this was known as a very seedy, run-down place (see John Waters' movie Female Trouble). But it's been renovated, tidied up, and made into a family-oriented showplace. |

I'm sure you must also know that James Rouse was instrumental in a lot of the clean-up of the harbor area, too. Wish I could visit my hometown more often--needing a steamed crab fix! |
