Denver stands near the eastern side of the Rocky Mountains. A good view of the skyline, from the east, comes with a dramatic mountain backdrop. The city has its share of culture--fine museums, concerts, nightlife, and big-league sports. And if you set out early, you can visit some of the gorgeous mountain parks to the west. Many are within an hour's drive. So it has the some of the best urban culture and outdoor life. Take your pick. |
