Most tourists, visiting San Francisco, never give Oakland a thought. It's easy to see why; San Francisco has a lot more to see and do. Also, Oakland has a reputation as a particularly dangerous city. But, if you have some time to spare while visiting San Francisco, Oakland is worth a visit. It is NOT as dangerous as many believe, if you stay in the better parts. Generally, it's not too bad during the day. And it does have some interesting places to see. |
