Lichfield | Lichfields, an old Cathedral City in the Midlands |
Perhaps this town is overshadowed by Birmingham. It is not one of the country's top tourist destinations, but certainly worth a visit. If you go to Birmingham for a few days or more, take one day to see this charming town.
The Industrial Revolution mostly bypassed Lichfield; that's probably why it still retains its old, medieval character. The town has a lot of history. |
