Pros and Cons
- Pros:2 large mountains at the base of one main village. The village is entirely pedestrian-friendly. It has the best ski/snowboarding terrain on the continent, the scenery is beautiful, plenty of activities in both summer and winter, great nightlife.
- Cons:One twisty highway in/out - you can be stuck in Whistler during emergency road closures. No history - this is a planned tourist resort built a few decades ago. Whistler village is noisy at night with drunks. Everything is expensive/overpriced.
- In a nutshell:A bustling international ski resort with unlimited opportunities in the summer and winter.

I never knew Whistler was a summer resort too. My husband wants to take another skiing trip, I told him not until he can afford to take me to Whistler. hehe
