I stayed in room at the top of this hotel. There are only 13 rooms in total here, and it feels as if you're staying in a house. The room was quite charming, with brightly coloured bedding and walls. There was even a little balcony leading outside. The hotel room that I stayed in didn't have a bathroom inside the suite, but there was a shared bathroom just outside the door off the hallway.
I stayed here during my first and very brief visit to Montreal. I more or less used it as a home base to which I explored Montreal. Since my second visit I've acquainted myself with Montreal's neighbourhoods and have oriented myself quite well, but at the time I first visited, I had no sense of direction or how far or close the nearby attractions were. I now know that the Hotel Le Breton's a very close walk to the trendy rue St-Denis where you'll find some great shops and restaurants. It's also a relatively close distance to Chinatown and Vieux Montreal.
