    • Favorite Thing: Go snorkeling!! There are many places by the dock that arrange day trips to the isolated cayes, lunch included. The reef isn't too far away, and if you're not a diver, it's ok because there's plenty for the snorkler too.

    Fondest Memory: The children!! The most beautiful smiles on these children who were so friendly, playing w/the coconuts on the beach. And everyone else is incredibly friendly too.

     The NY Blood Center has this list of countries at risk for Malaria, meaning a 1 year deferral if you visit there: http://live.nybloodcenter.org/files/Media/84/mediumFilename/malaria.pdf    		tboxcar Sat Oct 7, 2006 15:43 UTC
     Pretty common not being able to give blood after visting most countries. Usually up to 6 months. This goes for many places, especially those endemic to Malaria or Dengue
