The people on the island are beautiful. The local time is Fiji Time. Remember, your watches don't work here. Elana and I went there without any knowledge on the country. Even though we were only there for 3 days we got everything including sea-sickness, tornado (well maybe not that bad, but pretty close), to burnt soles from the sand being to hot. We caught the bus, after running for it for about 10-15 min with 15 lbs packs on our backs, and made it to the docks. The best part was watching the country side. Even though it is a tourist hot spot, it was amazing to see the different lifestyles.
Hopping on the sailboat, we went to Beachcomber Island, which was a giant Frat-house, lots of partying. Loved every minute. Watch out for the workers, they will try to numb you with Kava at the local parties. Take care, have fun, 'cause its' a blast!
