Florence is a beautiful place to to visit. Of course, this is a very busy city, booked accomodation in advance during peak season. The statue of David in the city square is a fake (the real one is inside the museum which is so pricy, and the statue is the exact same. Who is to say that one isn't real?) The Gypsies and the pick-pocket theives are in high numbers.
