  • Tip Rating:
  • Enjoy a bird's eye view of Bangkok city!
Baiyoke Sky Hotel is the highest hotel in Thailand, possibly in Asia or in the world! There is a revolving viewing gallery constructed right at the top of this Japanese-owned hotel. Unfortunately, you have to pay about B120 just to go up there.

Beautiful architecture decorated by thousand pieces of China porcelain that makes it an unique temple.

  • Tip Rating:
  • Go shopping at Chatuchak weekend market.
We were impressed by the vastness of the market - perhaps about 10 soccer fields or even bigger!!

The vendors sell everything under the sun! Clothings, shoes, accessories, food, fruits, antiques, handicrafts and even pets!!

This is definitely the place where u can mingle with the local people.

  • Tip Rating:
  • Go shopping at Patpong night market.
Everything counterfeit can be found here!! Watches, Bags, Wallets, Tees, Belts etc. Never EVER accept prices from first to third qoute by the vendors. Slash prices by a third and work up to a 50-50 compromise with the vendors. If ur a caucasian, they are likely to qoute u a much higher price as compared to Asians. So remember bargain bargain bargain - that's part of the joy of shopping!!

Getting dizzy looking at your photograph. Hope it will be a little less haze when I am up there. Well done.
