Chao Phraya River: Take a boat ride up and down...

    • Favorite Thing: Take a boat ride up and down the Chao Praya River. Average cost about 7-15B. It's an economical and excellent way to view the way of living for the local population.

    Fondest Memory: Feeding the catfish in the Chao Praya river during our free half-day city tour organised by the tour agency. There were big loaves of bread for sale at only 10B each. Oh my goodness! - These fish must really like the bread, clamouring to haf a bite each time a piece is thrown at them!! It is said that a person would be lucky if he sees a white fish since it is a rare sight. Even though there were plenty of fish, there were no fishing activities as the location is near a temple. I'm not sure about the exact location but it is much further up the Wat Arun.
