Love the markets!!!! So many goodies!! so many bargains!!

Nearby Ephesus, up the mountain is The House of Virgin Mary. This is a sacred place although not recognized by the Vatican, there's so much faith there... They tell the story that after Jesus died, his mother lived here.

I was impressed with this wall of thank yous, requests, prays, etc written in paper, cloth, napkins.. anything you can write on. Everyweek this wall is burned to give space to more prayers.
