  • Towards the end of our trip we visited Baltistan, situated in the very East of Pakistan. This province is part of Kashmir, now shared between India and Pakistan. It is said that the Baltis have more in common with Tibetians than with Pakistani. The balti language is of tibetian origin and in Baltistan you will find many temples that resemble tibetian culture.
