In December 2000 the National Zoo in Washington received two new panda bears from China. <b>Mei Xiang</b> (engl.'pretty') and <b>Tian Tian</b> (engl.'sweet') were born at the China Research and Conservation Center for the Giant Panda in Sichuan Province, China.

Great page, love the pic of the tourists cooling their feet in the fountain, we did exactly the same in July!
