The Bois de Boulogne was founded by Louis XIV. The park in the west of the city received its current flair from Napoléon who wanted to shape the park after London‘s Hyde Park. Since my employer, the OECD, was located just next to the park, I went jogging here during lunch breaks or after work. You can also cycle or even horse ride in this park. Métro: Sablons, Porte Maillot, Porte Dauphine, Porte d'Auteuil
