Put your shoes on and walk. Curiousities lye sprinkled among the narrow street of Venice, a walk into the unknown rewards you with serenity, real venitian life and a sense of humanity. Get lost! Literally. So many things allay Venice so unique among cities. Around 10 pm the footweary soldiers of tourists head back to their barracks for the night, and Venice breathes once more. She is quiet, tranquil and available. The streets empty out quickly and not a whisper in the wind. An occasional a noise, a clank!..just a cat. Boats leer up and down sleeping regardless. Venice plays another trick from her sumptous sleave. Nothing around. Its the 16th century. She plays whispers on you like a playful lover. Just listen.
