I loved the vacation in Krk - and I have to admit, that I didn't expect such a lovely place.. But it is!! The locals are wonderful.. the island is so various.. great lonely hidden beaches, fascinating nature and beside of this cities full of live... I hope I can give you some insight about my trip in sharing my pictures with you...

A nordic impression of Krk

The main capital of the island Krk is the city Krk. We didn't spend there very much time, but it is a wonderful city with much life and a lot to see.

My friend and I stayed in Malinska which is in the northern part of the island. Malinska is a tourist place, beside of a small harbour there are a lot of fixed beaches. Especially when you walk a little bit along the beach you can find wonderful silent places on the whater. Ah yep - the whater!!! It is so clean! Amazing! You can watch many different fish even in the beach area.

Beach at the city Rab Things to Do (3)

When you walk down the staircase there is a long beach to the left. It's no sand only stones.. but still the whater was... more travel advice
