I couldn't ski when I visited Sölden the first time. But this didn't keep me from Sölden. It is probably perfect for young people who want to go skiing. There is a ski lift in the village. And additionally to this, the place has a lot of bars, restaurants and discos. So everything for a great time. And for the ones who like to enjoy the nature, just take a hotel more far away from the center and you can enjoy the great white (or green) mountains from your hotel room window!
By the way: Sölden is located in the famous Ötztal, the valley where the ice-mumie "Ötzi" was found and the DJ Ötzi comes from. |
Granatentour I did not visit Sölden for skiing, but for hiking. A speciality is a valley where you can find "Granaten", red stones which are also used for jewellery. |
