I really like Ireland. I've been lucky enough to visit twice, each for about a week or slightly longer (smartened up for my second trip!) I was first in the Republic of Ireland in May 1993. I was later in the Republic as well as Northern Ireland in March 1999. Both times I was there, I was visiting my husband, who was lucky enough to get to work there for extended periods: about 6 weeks the first time and 6 months the second. Lucky sod! Lovely country, lovely people, lots to see and do. |
