I've been in Alberta several times. When I was growing up in BC, it was the province right next door. I sometimes travelled there with my parents. |

Then, when I took a trip there when I turned 18 - I could legally buy a drink in Alberta at 18, while I had to wait for 19 in BC. I went at least once for the Calgary Stampede during my while I was in university. Then, more recently, I've been there for work a number of times: - July 2002 - more specifically, Lac La Biche and Edmonton - October 2004 - Edmonton, Jasper, and Hinton. In October 2004, my husband and I went to attend a wedding of friends at Lake Louise. Since my husband has quite a bit of family in that neck of the woods we made a bit of a holiday out of it. Finally, my most recent trip to Alberta was last week - March 22-27, 2009. That was for a workshop in which a number of work colleagues learned and practiced new ideas and tools. |
