In front of BC legislature, Victoria, BC (Feb1988)

Travel for me seems to take one of two forms - travel for work and travel for pleasure, not that traveling for work is not pleasurable! Sometimes, my pleasure travel has been courtesy of my spouse's employer as he does a fair amount of work travel, just as I do! Keeps life interesting. Reports on both type of travel are included here.

When I go places, I don't often get to spend very much time. One of the things I like to do, in an attempt to get a better appreciation of where I'm going, is to read travel literature and vicariously experience other people's travel experiences. I will include on my travel pages examples of my reading material.

Me and red-cedar tree planted in 1988 (see above)!

This is the same tree in October 2009, that is in the picture with me in the red coat in front of the BC legislature in February 1988. I was a little surprised how fast this Red-cedar grew!
