Having lived in Amsterdam for over 5 years now, I am nowhere near an 'Amsterdammer'. However, I am very proud of this fantastic city and love to share some of my tips and experiences with you. The above photo is of Levantkade, on KNSM Island in Amsterdam, the round building is on Barcelonaplein. www.simplyamsterdam.nl is an internet site with interesting tips. Www.amsterdam.nl is worth checking as well, especially for events, exhibitions etcetera (the .com one is not useful for tourist info).
