Any high point in the city gives a beautiful view. Especially Signal Hill by night is stunningly beautiful.

The Garden Route is fantastic. Drive along the south coast, and visit Wilderness, Plettenberg (aka Pletts) Knysna and other places.

Visiting Cape Point is something you can't miss when you're in Cape Town! This is where the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean meet and it is very pretty.

The Albert and Victoria Waterfront is a good place for people watching, shopping, eating and drinking (there is a great sportsbar). From the Waterfront, you can take a sailing (booze) cruise or visit Robben Island.

Robben Island is very interesting and impressing from a historical perspective. It also has some interesting wildlife. Most of the guides are men that were in prison on Robben Island. The room in which Nelson Mandela was kept for many years can be visited.
