At the end of a three month stay in Southern Africa in 1997, I spent two weeks in Zimbabwe. What an experience! Driving from the border with SA to Vic Falls via Bulawayo was an experience on itself, one road with many sideroads with little villages, baboons that disturb you while having lunch and giraffes claiming the road you were planning on driving on. The Zimbabwians we (I travelled with a friend) met were extremely friendly and helpful. |

Booze Cruise, eh? I LIKE the sound of that. I really came to enjoy the concept of "sundowners" each evening when I was in southern Africa. |
