I am a travel junkie, plain and simple.

For all of those who sent me emails while I was in Simferopol, I apologize if I wasn't able to get back in touch with you. I was really surprised at how many people had questions and were passing through the area. I will try to check my VT email a bit more often, but it might not be too regular for a little bit.

When I was 18 years old I joined the Army instead of going straight to college and it turned out to be one of the best things I ever did in my life. Pacifists can relax on this one. What I mean is that I was stationed in Augsburg, Germany and really had a chance to get around and travel. I worked a 6 on, 3 off shift, which gave me a long weekend every time. I just really wish I had taken more pictures as I roamed the countryside. If only VT were alive back then, I would have had more of a reason to document it. I guess this gives me a reason to get out and re-live everything again!

Some day when I get the inclination, I might just quit my job and start wandering full-time. Job satisfaction would be high, but the retirement plan sucks.
