Yes, it is all one big tourist trap - bring plenty of money, even if you don't plan to gamble. The attractions are expensive (rollercoaster ride for $10, a wax museum for $17.97, etc). The only advantages for your wallet are the buffets - all fairly good and vary in prices.
The one attraction that was worth a wee bit more was a stop at Quork's Bar (free to enter - part of the Star Trek Experience), where one can indulge in alien foods and drink - worth getting off the strip for. |
