"Zandvoort, touristic beachspot" Zandvoort by sandravdp

Zandvoort is one of Hollands most famous spots at the beach. Other beach places to be: Scheveningen, Castricum, Bergen aan Zee, IJmuiden, Noordwijk and ofcourse other coastal spots at the provinces Zeeland & the Wadden islands.

Zandvoort has a beach, a dune area and in town you can find lots of shops, restaurants and places to go out. Every year a lot of tourists come to Zandvoort, especially at Easter there are lots of tourists from Germany.

At the beach you will be able to find lots of sea shells. These are for instance: mussles, oisters, 'shaving knive shells' or 'nun shells'.

When the wind direction, seastream or the temperature of the water changes it's possible that you will find other things. Some days there can be a natural kind of foam (consisting of microscopic tiny animals) on the water, there can be lots of small rather innocent jellyfish, sometimes 'seastars' or small crabs.
