Siena is famous for it's cathedral dome and for the Piazza del Campo, a big square in the form of a big shell. The three mountains where Siena is build on, come together here. On Piazza del Campo you will be able to find the beautiful Community Palace with it's large Tower La Mangia. The square is furthermore surrounded by palaces. Sienna also has some nice churches and a beautiful fountain near the old castle walls. |
