In the north east of India, province Uttar Pradesh, lays the city of Varanasi. Muslims call the city 'Bennares'. This large city lays a long the river Ganga (Ganges) and most people come here for the holy river.

I stayed a few days here and really had to get used to the people and their behaviour. Here it's quite different then anywhere else. I will tell you more about it in my tips list and travellogue. I hope you will enjoy this page and that it is of use to you.
