Things I loved about Edinburgh:
hearing the Scots brogue, friendly people, pubs everywhere, the fact that many of the most beautiful buildings happen to be schools, double-decker buses, Royal Mail postboxes, stone walls, very tall buildings, ghosts and ghouls, a castle and a palace connected by a Royal Mile.

well, it's the UK, it's going to be expensive no matter what..............:-)...then again, whatever it cost now, your next visit will be more $$$, that's a given! Great town though; I hope you got to visit those ghosties and out into the Highlands too... |
