Shinjuku and Ginza are two of the most famous places in Tokyo, especially shopping.

These places are often very crowded, even more so during weekends. In fact the Shinjuku sub-way station is the busiest sub-way station in the world with about 1 million people passing through it everyday !

Let me share with you my experience and photographs of Shinjuku and Ginza which may be useful to you.

Shinjuku & Ginza - Famous Places in Tokyo - Shinjuku

This among one of the many shopping centres you will see in Shinjuku and Ginza. The customer service provided by the Japanese are very good, and they are very courteous and helpful by nature. Usually the shopping centres open around 10-11am.

  • Pros:Lots of shopping & things to do here
  • Cons:Very crowded especially during weekends
  • In a nutshell:You must experience these 2 places while in Tokyo
