Halifax Hotel Tips by victorwkf

Waverley Inn is a very interesting bed and breakfast in Halifax, which is designed with architecture and items of Victorian times, including the room. I have always wanted to stay in somewhere special and Waverley Inn is the place. It is also lcated conveniently along Barrington Street within walking distance to the major attractions. The staff are very friendly and you have free internet access at the lobby. The free breakfast is at a cosy room at the basement. The only problems are that the price may be a bit expensive and there are no lifts, which mean that you need to carry your own luggage up (maximum of 4th floor). In summary, I really enjoyed my stay here as this is something really unique. More photos are at the travelogue section of this VT page.

The Lord Nelson Hotel is the most luxurous hotel at Halifax and it is conveniently located along South Park Street, just across the impressive Halifax Public Gardens. This hotel is within short walking distance from the major attractions of Halifax.

The Westin Hotel is located along Hollis Street near to the waterfront boardwalk of Halifax and Pier 21. This hotel is very good and has impressive views of the harbour. The only problem is that it is not so centrally located, but still within walking distance from major attractions.
