Ottawa is a beautiful and relaxing city which is located on the border of the provinces of Ontario and Quebec of Canada, seperated by the Ottawa River. Being the capital city of Canada, it houses many political monuments as well as museums. Other than these, the city has some beautiful scenery as well.
I had a chance to visit Ottawa in Nov 2005 for a meeting and took the opportunity to explore the city. It was a very long journey for me as I was literally staying on the other side of the world (in Singapore). Nevertheless, I enjoyed my trip to Ottawa and would like to share with you some experiences and photographs, which I hope will be useful to you. |
